Red Grouse
Hi All,

Here's another from my Grouse trip back in August. Haven't done much recently due to a car smash so here's one from the archives.

Do you think that the two white sticks need to go?

Techs: Nikon D2X, 200-400MM, 1.4x TC, Beanbag on car door, 100th sec at F8

C and C welcome.

Thnaks and Regards

Chris. :wavey: :toast: :wavey:

Well composed with plenty of space and fine colours, I like it as is but I am sure some will say they detract from the image..

Thanks for the comments all. Next question - are anybody's cloning skills better than mine lol??

Great shot chris, I would be tempted to take the sticks out, I think they distract from what is a fabulous shot of the grouse in stunning light

Lovely image Chris, it looks ever so slightly light on my screen (really minor). Shouldn't have mentioned the twigs because now they most definitely have to go!

I didn't notice the sticks until I read your comment. If they are that unobtrusive, leave well alone imo.

Nice work Chris but I would remove those sticks above the heather as they add nothing to the image in my opinion. Otherwise a classic image well seen and composed.
