After my first post on NPN, and a lot of reactions, hereby a second picture of a muskox. I wanted to show this animal as part of this beautiful scenery.

That gives a superb indication of desolation and cold to me.
Wonderful. Maybe little more contrast but could be the old monitor problem again.
Good stuff anyway.

Cracking Image! I love the way that the Musk Ox seems to be bracing itself against the wind.

Great stuff.

This is a stunning image, giving a real feeling for the landscape that these creatures survive in. I particularly like the high key effect and the muted colours that are a feature of snow being whipped up from the ground by the winds that as mentioned, the animal appers to be bracing itself against. The faint mountains in the background complete the image and show how small such a large creature can appear when placed in-situ.

Another beautiful image. A large animal but still lost in a huge landscape. Wish it was mine.

This is a very nice shot with a great sence of place and desolation. Well done.

This is great. The harsh environment and a beat like that. Very well seen and captured.
