I just want to thank everyone involved in creating and maintaining this site, I can only imagine all the work involved.
I am fairly new to photography,- been at it about 2 years now - so I was a little shy about joining a site where so many pros hang out. So thank you for making amateurs like me with a lot to learn feel so welcome.
I can't believe how much I have learned in such a short time from from looking at all the posts, reading the critiques, and inputing a little of my own work. The quality of photography submitted here is amazing, and inspires me to work harder.
So again thank you to Jim and all the staff, all the contributors for the awsome posts and honest critiqes, and everyone for making this a great place to learn no matter what our level of expertice.

Dan: What I've appreciated about NPN from the time I first joined until now is the overall helpful attitude throughout the site. There is certainly a bit of competition for the weekly picks but it is a friendly one and I cannot recall a single instance where a pick was questioned or resented. Folks seem to take a delight in the growth and talent of others. Great to have you aboard. Its a great ride. >=))>

Dan,
Great message. The only thing I can add is that "it takes two to Tango..." I don't think there is anyone who visits and contributes here that hasn't learned something or been inspired. I know I certainly have. And so it goes to everyone who participates here that makes this place what it is. So Thanks to all!
