I've seen quite a few flies around recently, must be the mild weather. A nicely detailed shot John.

Global warming? More like Global Drowning with the rain we've been having. I've seen a few about but nowhere near as many as the queen wasps. A very nice shot but not BIF enough for my taste.

A superb shot John, there are still quite a few around at the moment. Thankfully they're not all eating MY pud

Great detailed shot John. There are still plenty round here. Every time I open a window another one flies in. I have stopped swatting them since I started photographing them. Feel a bit guilty if I do that now

A field full of cows means there is still a lot of these about here in between the showers John! Really nicely done with some great detail.
