Technically these are far from being Nature Photos, so I hope they can be posted as an OT :).
Just like Jeff's Paris images below, the Sydney Icons really come to life at dusk and at night, so most of the images I shot were at that time.
We stayed in the Rocks, which is the oldest area of Sydney, and right inbetween the Opera House and the Bridge. The Botanical gardens are fabalous too, I wish I had had more time to explore those.
I don't think I've ever seen so many photographers in a City with tripods before, there were lots :).
Canon 5dmkii, 24-105L, tripod.

Thanks for sharing these, Nick.
I love the opera house abstract.
I've only seen the standard distant shots, never the details.

Excellent work- I liked them all. The bridge with the orange hues and blue skies really contrasted well.

Did you do the walk on the Sydney Harbor Bridge?
Posted by Nick Moore on November 23, 2009 at 9:50 PM
Bert, no we didn't do the Harbour Bridge walk. We were only in Sydney for 2 days, and the Bridge walk takes quite a while I believe, not to mention $$$. Some of the images I have though you can see the people on the top!.

Wow, what a trip Nick. A really nice set of images to look through. They make me wonder if some day I will be able to make it down under.

You came away with some really good photos, Nick. I love your night images, the abstract above, and that 2nd Jacaranda shot.

Really nice collection, Nick. The Jacaranda tree shot is killer.
