Raging Tempest
Taken today during my 30min lunch break. I've not really done many landscape/seascape shots, or B&W conversions for that matter, so any comments and critiques would be most welcome!
Thanks for looking. :wavey:

f6.3, 1/640sec, ISO 160,@370mm hand held.

Canon 50D, Sigma 150-500mm lens

That is really well processed Paul. Very dramatic and well caught. I think perhaps I would crop some off the right as that doesn't seem to add anything to what is the main action.

Thanks Robert! This image was taken 3hrs after High Tide, during a force 9 Gale, gusting force 10 to 11. It must have been scary at high tide! Here is a colour version.

WOW, taken during your lunch brake. You Brits are so lucky to have a beautiful coastline.
Well done. That storm is raging over my house as we speak.

Nice...the type of image I have been trying for over the last couple of stormy weekends, high tide would have been a sight....

Love the Mono treatment.

Can't make my mind up between the mono and colour versions, both very dramatic. Great stuff!

Now that's a nice wave to capture.. Good work on both counts and the gent in the frame just adds to the scale and drama.

Very nice Paul. Think I prefer the B&W image but both are really good. :wavey:
