Big man
This must be the biggest male wild boar I've ever seen. Must be about 150 kg. In winter fur they loo a lot bigger but still this is one strong animal.

A lovely 'nature' image Edwin and a handsome beast to boot, too! I think this is an excellent example where we need to step back, rather than close in. Mind you Edwin, I am not too sure how close you would want to get? :toast:

Thanks everyone :wavey:

They look dangerous but they are not. You can walk up to them and they will run. Well most of the time

Nice to see you again Julian. Really looking forward to it.

Terrific shot, Edwin. Taken recently? Shame the water was not calm for a good reflection but then you have to have something to try for next time!

Hi Mark,

Not recently I'm afraid. It's one from last year. The whole family, including me, is sick so no time for playing outdoors. You're right about the water. Would be perfect with a nice reflection.
