Curious if anyone has a good source for ordering custom cut matting online?

I have a print that will be about 9x10 and I need put it in an 11x14 frame for a submission, I don't want to spend a lot of money on this whole project so was hoping to just buy a basic 11x14 frame and put a custom cut mat with a 9x10 opening in it into the frame... is there anywhere easy / inexpensive online that does this that anyone knows of?

Thanks in advance.

I use Frame Destination all the time. They don't offer a whole lot of mat colors- just a few basics, but their prices are very good, and service/S&H are excellent. I use them for mass quantity orders for my gallery sales, but their custom cut and small run prices are good as well.

I use The Mat Cutter -- http://www.matcutter.com/ -- and they are very good. However you need to buy a bunch of mats -- 25 -- if you want custom cuts. They do have a lot of standard cuts to choose from but even then you need to buy packages of 10.

What I do instead is work with a local framer. She will cut any double mat for me -- up to 16 by 20 -- for $10. She uses scrap mat board but has a wide selection and I only use white or cream colors. If you just want one special mat you might try a local framer. If you sell your work you can let them know that you are in business and will be using their services from time to time -- it also helps if you can bring in friends and send customers their way.

Documounts, excellent products, selection and a very easy to use site. They are in California. Shipping to the mid west or east coast is longer and costlier but I just have not found another company that can compare in products.
