Still going through some old pictures and decided to process some shots from my trip to climb Blanca, Ellingwood Point, and Little Bear. Little Bear is the peak dominating the photo, and one of the harder 14ers to summit in Colorado. The road on the left is the Lake Como 4x4 road, which was pretty gnarly and fun. Here's a bigger shot:
Indeed...this is the tamest section of the road. For the most part, it is brutal. I guess this is your reward for making it this far: a beautiful view of Lake Como and Little Bear.
Mel,
No worries...I should have posted a pic like this too to show how heinous this road is!
When my wife comments on the cost of photo gear, my stock response is, "Hey! I could have hobbies like aviation, gambling or jeeping!" Nice shot. I'll have to hoof it up there one of these years.

Dang, that does look like a gnarly road. I would love to hike it. Justin, great shot, I love the dark clouds. Looks like a beautiful place.

Thanks in advance for looking.
This spot is idyllic, but there are sections of the trail like this too.
Justin, I don't mean to steal your thunder by any means. Its a really nice shot of the road, lake and Little Bear.
