Just wanted to drop a note here on Thanksgiving Day to say "Thanks" to all of the great folks on this forum...
No matter what the question, I can count on the people here to provide guidance, whether it is about technique, equipment, locations to shoot, etc. I only hope that I can someday come close to matching some of the talent I see here everyday.
And a special thanks to all those who I have had the good fortune to meet in person and share with!
Now, lets go eat some turkey!

I was already warming up my jaw muscles this morning at IHOP. I think I'm ready. Bring on the bird!
And Happy Thanksgiving to all you great RMNP folks.

Happy Thanksgiving also to everyone, you're a great bunch. Maybe be my last in the USA, boo hoo.

Happy Turkey Day to my extended family here at RMNP!
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I'm enormously grateful for what nature photography brings to my life. I'm grateful that I have the economic luxury for my modest camera equipment and for all my time in the outdoors. And I'm very grateful for the critiques, advice and inspiration provided by members of this forum. My own work would certainly be poorer without you.
(I know I haven't posted my own work in a while: soon!)

Ditto!
This is my last Thanksgiving in the midwest, my next one will be in a place where saguaros abound.

Hope everyone had/is having a blessed and safe Thanksgiving! I had to work, but that was still a blessing, b/c I will be paid extra for it.
I will also share that I am thankful for many things. I am very thankful for being able to participate in this forum and receive great advice from the awesome caliber of photographers here.
I am thankful to God also for my recent move to Gunnison, Colorado, for my great home and awesome job here. There is so much beauty around here, I feel like I am living in paradise...a photographer's paradise.
I am thankful for my family, friends, health, and so many other things.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
