Good morning all. In light of recent weather conditions I decided to upload an image taken a few weeks ago in nicer light. Please feel free to comment, the more the better, good or bad. The image has been cropped slightly on the LHS to improve composition, and a little noise reduction and sharpening were applied in CS3.

Hi Paul
A good competent portrait: nice perch, clean background and well exposed. Now you've cracked the basics I'd be trying to capture a little behaviour - calling, aggressive posturing, etc.
I think the image would benefit from the bird being higher in the frame.
Agree with Chris... these are always good to photograph, another crop option, perhaps a little unconventional is to take a good bit from the top to give a slightly pano format.

Hi Paul,
Very nice! I can only echo Chris' comments. It is very similar to the last two Blue Tits you've posted, but I know how difficult it can be to get small birds doing exciting stuff.
Cheers,
Lewis.

A very nice picture of a very nice little bird, good out of focus background. I like the blue tits a great little bird to photograph.

A very nicely detailed image eith nice colour and a good clean b/g. I would, however, be inclined to trim the top slightly to bring the bird higher into the frame.Nice one.

Nice to see a common species being featured.
