Hi David,
Doesn't work for me I'm afraid. (Plus the large version is too big for my monitor and can't view it all at once, and seems soft on left hand side). I don't think the subject has enough interest, not a particularly interesting group of leaves (past their autumn best). I do like the change into warmer tones from left to right however, and I'm assuming it was this that drew your eye.

Needs viewing at the larger size -then the variety of colours and shapes are really very nice. As a composition, it works for me.

Perhaps its just me David but there seems to be a dominance of colour towards purple and because most of the leaves look to be of the same variety. Admire your bravery in posting such a small image.
Major.

good stitching technique David but I must admit the subject doesn't entirely grab me either. Like Greg, I think it may have worked better with leaves in better condition and stronger Autumnal colours. Some more DOF would have helped too.
re. your query on my post about posting 1000pixel images, my 1000 pixel image is hosted externally, just like your Flickr image is. I used Imageshack (www.imageshack.us) to host it. Send me an email if there's anything I can clarify.

Hi David,
all the nits have been picked but I cannot see the join.
I think its a nice idea David but agree it would have looked better with the leaves in better condition. Very nice colours though and I can't see the join (not in the picture either)

Hi David,
I appreciated this one greatly once I saw it bigger on your Flickr site
There's a lot of colour in there and I've always been a fan of panoramic shaped images.
If anything, maybe the leaves are a little worn now.

Thanks folks for the comments. Perfect Leaves and Autumnal colours have been done ad infinitum maybe even ad nauseam. I try to present something different, which I hope I have done here. The colours, textures and a hint of decay
attracted me.
Thanks Matt. Thanks Craig for making me a Flickr friend - a great pleasure

Very different David, the larger version works best imo, nice one.
