Wild Basin Ice
I got thwarted for the 4th time in my plans to shoot Dream at sunrise (clear skies--again  ) so i took Erik's advice and hiked up Wild Basin to Ouzel Falls (which were 2/3 frozen, BTW). Here's a series--let me know which if any work for you (one more at ESS) :wavey:

Great series Stan. Love the blues here.
#1 is my favorite, but #3 is an interesting vortex for the eyes!

2 and 3 are my favorites!

2 and 3 are my choices Stan, all nice and blue. Feels cold.

I like #3 & #7, I particularly like the blue hue to them all!.

I'm feeling the blues! Actually, I like the blue tint but think I would lessen it about 30% to get closer to the real color but with still an obvious blue feel. My favorites are #2 and #6

Stan - very nice, I like #1 and #3 myself.

How were the trails - did you need snowshoes at all?

Excellent Stan! I'm a #3 and #7 guy myself. Glad you made the hike. I think the blue tint you choose works really well with these.

#2 is my favorite. Love the blue.

I'm a #1, #6 & #7 guy.
A very creative series all in all. Numero Quatro seems out of place in the series, though.
How long was the hike? Did you need skis or snowshoes?

As others, love the blue and #2 is my favorite.

I like them all!

All of them are nice but #3 is my favorite. :toast:

I like the 3rd. It contains some nice texture and a little added color. What was you shutter speed on that one? As always Stan, nice work.

Stan,

Great series...#s 3 + 7 do it for me.

Very cool stuff, Stan. I really like 1 and 3, but they're all good.

Great images! Love the blue color and the detail in the ice. The rushing water in #6 really adds to the image.

Cool series, Stan. #2 and 6 stand out for me, though the whole collection - minus #4 perhaps - would make for an excellent abstract series.

#3 and #5 are my favorites. :toast:

3 is 1 and 1 is 2, oh well, you get those are the 1's I like.

Thanks a lot, guys!

I didnt need snowshoes, there was little snow on the trail and it was packed down (as was the trail to Dream/Emerald). The hike to Ouzel was 3.7 miles one way.

Its interesting that #3 got the most votes, i thought it might be a bit too busy. Its also the only one i went with a warmer white balance (shade) rather than AWB.

I purposely threw #4 in there to mess with you  Actually, it looks completely different at full scale--all sorts of detail and texture, but admittedly the jpeg looks pretty mundane. Thanks!
