Hi everyone, so I have this photograph by Franklin Jay Haynes, a famous Yellowstone photographer, its one of his rare large format prints, and I'm really interested in finding more info about it. Its of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone at Artist Point, and is hand pigmented. It measures 17x22in. I'll have to post a pic of it soon, but I would like to get it appraised to see how much its worth and just to get more info on it. Does anyone have experience in working with appraisers, or know of any in MN? Thanks. Joe

Can't help with the appraiser, but congradulations on having such a print of F. J. Haynes, one of my favorite early western photographers. Some time ago, I remember seeing an article where one of his descendants was looking for info on him, either trying to write a book about him,( there are at least 2,) or to start a museum. Maybe someone with a Yellowstone historic group can help you. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
