Abrams Creek; GSMNP
Not too many posts here lately so I'd thought I'd throw this one up. I took a detour through the mountains yesterday on my way back to Atlanta from Ohio. Caught this during a short break in the rain. Tried to shoot in Cades Cove and on the Foothills Pkwy but the rain just wouldn't cooperate.

I've lived in North Carolina for almost 9 years now, and I must admit that I've spent far too little time in GSMNP, especially with a camera in tow. Hope to see a few more from your detour.
