What a cracking shot of a bird I am not familiar with.

The eye is really captivating. :toast:

What a bizzare looking bird Keith, but agree with Mike that eye really grabs your attention!

Hi Keith,

lovely shot of a bird I have never heard of :toast: The eye makes it look a bit manic.

I would get rid of the strand of grass at the bottom

I love babbler's eyes, if not their incessant raucous calls. You have caught this one beautifully.

Cracking image, great detail and lovely eye. Background colours are very complimentary to the subject. Agree with Ian though about the blade of grass at the bottom (if being picky). :wavey:

Hello Kieth.

What a super looking bird and that eye is stunning, the background is ok for me but I would agree about cloneing out the peice of grass at the bottom middle.

A very active and interesting pose helps to make this shot. I agree about the grass although it hardly competes with the eye! Technically excellent too.
