Coastal Crash
Crashing waves, beautiful sunset and seasonal sunflower trees, what else do you need at the beach.

Wrote about things you might look for when you are photographing the beach and the sand and surf just doesn't do it for you anymore.

Steve,

Great shot from the Pt. Vincente Fishng access. If I'm wrong then where was the spot doesn't change the wonderful image. It. must have been low tide, and the only thing that's throwing me off is the sand. Pt. Vincente has a mostly cobble beach, so maybe I jumped the gun, but it does have a very similar rock formation at the bottom of a steep trail. There's allot of the little sunflower trees there also. Anyway another great one Steve.

Excellent timing on this shot here, Steve. Colors all look spot on too, very nice seascape.

Well done, Steve. Good detail in the rocks and flowers with a lovely sky, plus the
crashing water gives the image that little extra something.

Great seascape Steve. I love the color and especially think the addition of the yellow flowers really makes this image stand out.

Great one Steve. where do you get all those wonderful flowers along pacific...i initially thought it was OR :-)

Debjit, How could you say Oregon in the California forum:0 Everything I post here in CANP is from California. This is one my off the beaten path spots close to home, only about 20 minutes away. That particular type of flower only lives a short time. Call it luck or getting to know my surroundings. These Giant Coreopsis don't grow north of San Luis Obispo County. Debjit, California has some of the best seastacks on the Pacific Coast you just have to go find them.

thanks Paul and Richard.
