Took the camera a tractor ride today. Nothing much was around till about sundown when the clouds cleared a bit and the sunsetwith some great color. Wish there was enough room in the cab for the tripod. Taken from inside the tractor because the wind was blowing and it was cold, I had slim pickins for FG. Realy just wanted to see how the new lens handled the shot.

I like this even better focusing on the left-hand 3/5 or so of the frame. The silhouettes are more pleasing, I think, and it serves the dual purpose of eliminating the utility pole and wires.

Very nice, Kendall. I like the comp and would probably clone out the power lines and pole. I'm wondering how that lens handled the highlight edges in terms of fringing, especially near the sun. Hard to tell with this file size, but it looks pretty good.
