Folks,
Another from the same day. Done on the way up the road not too far from the overlook. The leaves reminded me of a stained glass window and all I needed was some form and shape to set a composition off. This unusual tree provided the shape.
Nikkor 200M at f/32 on Velvia 100 with the 4x5 Ebony field camera.
Cheers, Steve

I really like this one, a graphic foreground shape and lovely light and color!
So, are you still shooting with those antique cameras?

Richard,
Yep, but they're not as antique as a 3-year old digital camera.
You never have to worry about obsolescence because they're obsolete when you buy one!
The attached shot was made on Round Bald this past summer with a 1920-vintage Eastman #2 whole plate (6-1/2 x 8-1/2) camera which I was testing for light leaks given it's almost 90-year old age. It worked fine, but my 5-year old scanner put lines in the image.
