Taken a couple of weeks ago, when the weather and the light was a little kinder. Hope you like it, thanks for taking the time to view, please feel free to comment. The more the merrier, good or bad. I can only learn from it!!! :wavey:

Canon 50D, Sigma 150-500mm lens.

Hi Paul
Cracking detail in the bird etc but I just feel the moss is a prop used too often and sometimes doesn't suit the bird ( or certain birds) I do it my self anyway ! It tends to hide the feet too. A nice gnarled branch or even a man made artifact found in a garden often works well.
Cheers

Nice capture Paul. Lovely detail and stunning BG. Agree with John though about a perch. :wavey: :toast:

Hello Paul.

The Robin and background are excellent and I find the moss ok.

Lots of sharp detail and a pleasing BG. Classic Robin all you need is a bit of the white stuff.

Great bird, good background. I do agree with John about the moss though. If you can't find anything else, a log with some lichen on it might be an improvement. Or some of that white stuff of course...
