Movement and Contrast
This shot was taken over the past holiday weekend. I am making an effort to "look" for more opportunities for monochromatic scenes.

Predawn just North of Haystack & the Needles. My hope was to use an incoming wave to create a leading diagonal line through the image.

C&C always welcome and appreciated.

Looks pretty good - with a fair amount of detail in all of the larger rocks..

Thanks Ned. I've never been able to get the masterfile to translate well to the web on NPN. I always seem to lose considerable detail and the image always ends up darker once posted. Anyone have any surefire processes to match CS4 color / contrast / detail more closely with the web image?

I too find photos darken as collapsed. I often add a slight curves adjustment. If in color, I sometimes have to add a bit of saturation back in too.
