Sorry but am bog-eyed looking through my fungi book and can't find the ID for this. Had a really enjoyable day photographing fungi. Sun shone and company not bad apart from loud hiccups!!

They look like oyster mushroom, very good to eat!

Think I agree with Frederic re ID. And a very nicely exposed image it is too. Pity about the leaf bottom right though. Nice one Maggie.

Hello Maggie.
Nice example of the fungi and I like the setting, I think I would try and darken or remove the leaf in the bottom right corner as it pulls the eye a little.

Well I love these in my soup that's for sure
Agree about the leaf but still very nice. Well exposed!!
Is it me or is there a little man just left above the yellow leaf looking at us? Is it Danny?
Thanks Fran, Kim, Guy and Edwin. Have removed the yellow leaf. Well spotted Edwin - I have removed Danny as well. He gets everywhere you know

Good looking specimens Maggie and the cloning has sorted the nits out. These things are not as easy to take as most might imagine as I have found out from bitter experience static or not.
