When the sun decides to spoil the light for many waterfall scenes, I sometimes try to find some shade with illuminated trees on the opposite side of some water so as to cast reflections like this at Six Finger Falls earlier this year. This is actually one of my favorites from the fall season. I hope you enjoy it too.

Super image as always Bill, you picked out a nice little tunnel thru the brush to view these falls at a very calm moment.

very nice Bill. A bit more texture/ripples in the gold might have added to it?

I think the water level/flow was too low for more textures.

Great glow on the falls, Bill.

Love the golden glow Bill. I see why this is a favorite.

Thanks guys. Larry, I was thinking the same thing as I was checking all the angles, and thought a close up of the ripples might also be effective. Here is the result, using the auto blend layers tool in CSS. Very cool tool. One of my favorite parts of this image is the little green submerged leaf just left of center FG.

Great framing on the first shot. Wonderful color combination on the second. Good job on both Bill.
