Little Blue River
I haven't been out shooting in so long I was afraid I'd forgotten how to use my camera! So despite chilly weather moving in, I went out last night and snagged some shots of sunset over the Little Blue River.

This is a 3 shot blend. I really liked the patterns in the ice and was trying to use them to draw attention into the photo and the color of the sunset.

Very nice! It has a 3D feel to it. You need to pick up the camera more often! It's funny how you or any of us can take a short brake from shooting and the first time you frame up something, it turns out so wonderful. I get more "keepers" after short brakes. I can't wait til we have some frozen steams. :wavey:

You captured some interesting ice patterns here, Scott. I'll bet there is some great detail in a larger version. Nice work in getting out to snag this one!

As always, nice captue.
The ice makes this photo in my opinion. The pattern detail is amazing.
Also the tree line give depth and the convergence of the trees and river is neat.
Glad you got out.

Very nice image Scott! The ice appears a bit over-sharpened in this small version, bet it looks great larger.
