More Barns
Brad Mangas mentioned several months ago that barns were popular.

This is one SW of Topeka. the metal roof subtracts somewhat but the wood texture perhaps balances.

I would like to see some of your barns.

And never mind the silly weed growing rampant....

This shot graced the cover of the local electric co-op calendar a couple of years ago. It resides in Hartsburg, MO.

I think this barn has a lot of potential, Larry, but the light was not too flattering when you photographed it - looks like it was almost high noon. And I think Merle's shot is a good example of how much clouds can add to the composition. You might try going back when conditions a little more conducive to a better image.

Here is an old barn in Stone County. I took this back when I was 11 I believe. It took first in some big state contest. I have a trophy somewhere, probably the same place the negative that I can't find is. I wish I had known what the heck I was doing and taken about a step backwards.
