Like it Jeroen, love the pastel/subdued colours on this one, excellent use of space IMHO. BG horizon line doesn't worry me, but some may feel it's cutting through the head?

Missed this earlier.
Nice picture. Maybe just a tiny bit nore canvas right or a bit less left just to get thet "into frame " feel.
Little bit off bottom and a little bit onto the top.
Sounds very "nit picky " but that's just what cropping is all about. Often the most difficult part of pp.

Like it though.
This is great Jeroen. I'd love a Roe image of this quality in my collection and I'm very surprised it hasn't received more comments. I love the soft pastel colours and background. Like John, I think a little bit more room on the top would really help, even if this means adding a bit of canvas.

Hi Jeroen, I too enjoy the soft colour palette of this one but wondered if it might need to be a little warmer or something to give it a little more punch. The deer looks a little uneasy and therefore a little awkward in the frame. Great subject but I think some of your others are much stronger.

Love the 'walking forward' pose captured here Jeroen, the colours are beautiful and lovely detail thoughout, very nice

Your idea of "Just another roe deer" makes most of us very jealous. I would love a shot like this, or just the opportunity to get one.
Very nice shot of a deer moving towards the camera. Most of my shots are of them running hard the other way.
