Thanks for the heads up Paul - although it doesn't do me any good....
But I didn't want to mention that I had a positive experience with KEH at a local camera swap meet earlier this year. I went to one of these auctions to pawn off a bunch of gear which helped me buy my new tripod. anyway, the guy from KEH was great and actually wanted to find out what I had to sell. He ended up giving me $25 bucks for an old Nikon SB24 flash that had corroded contacts in the battery compartment. They probably turn around and sell it for $40 on their site, but I can say that they love to buy up used equipment.
Richard, you're welcome and good luck if you do decide to go. I use to go almost every time they had these shows years back now, but I've settled in on the gear I need as well as nothing to sell either.
Lon, good to hear the story and I cannot say enough about KEH and their overall business approach. I have bought numerous MF & LF gear from them over the years. I also sold all my 35mm gear to them when I transitioned to MF. They bought all of it and paid me a fair price. My gear was in excellent condition and they listed it all as such when they started selling it on their site.
I will say I did get a MF lens once that had been on the shelf for awhile and suffered some fungus issues. It was under the 15 day return period and they honored it immediately and sent me an excellent replacement.
