Bald Eagle (C)
This three year old Bald Eagle still not mature was shot by poachers in or near Justin Texas. The best part of one wing was destroyed. A warden found the bird and tracked the poachers who then turned their guns on him. He died from his injuries leaving a widow and two young children. Just three weeks ago.
The Bald Eagle is now resident in a nature centre along with a Golden Eagle who suffered the same fate losing a wing.
These acts defy description.

should have explained myself, i agree that killing someone and maiming wildlife is a terrible thing to do, just don't believe in the concept of evil and object to the wide usage of the term but that is a philosophical discussion and not for this forum
Doesn't surprise me, Americans spent $4.6 Billion on hunting and shooting sports equipment in 2008 alone, this doesn't cover hand guns, your bound to get a few bad eggs in such a large basket.
Just a thought, but as its from Texas, shouldn't this have been posted in one of the USA forums
