One from the vaults back in February.

Ravens provide a constant source of entertainment when you are in a freezing cold hide, and the tricks they play on White-tailed Eagles are hilarious.

It's surprising just how thick these eagles are as they fall for the same trick over and over again

Taken in the flattest of light money can buy due to heavy snow falling here is a 1024 version:

I have always thought top predators rely more on brawn than brains, nice to have some confirmation of it. Crows, in contrast, are the brainboxes of the avian world. You capture the atmosphere very well, sooner you than me in that hide!!!

Very nice Andy. It even makes me feel cold to look at it.

Great shot of both birds. :toast:

Great stuff Andy, even with the flat light. The image seems to show that the Raven is a bit of a trickster without you even saying it. It also illustrates the size of the Eagle very well. :toast:

I'd love to have a crack at these birds in similar conditions but it sounds like an expensive business.

Brilliant shot Andy. I'm glad I'm sat in a warm office cus that looks mighty cold there. Well worth getting cold fingers for though!! :toast: :toast:

Like the interaction between those predators.
The snow really gives a great sense of what you have experienced and the fox tops it off as prey.

Well worth the effort!

I think this is a superb shot, three elements and the weather, and the tension is visible too...
Wonderfully done

Interesting behavioural shot. More detail obviously in the larger image. Nice to see the smaller bird out foxing the larger one

P.S. Has Jan booked your room yet in the home for the bewildered   :wavey:

A difficult shot in adverse conditions. Amazing to think detail is still held well with all the falling snow.

Brilliant Shot and I still hate you and Ed and that other dutch fellow for getting these shots. Why don't you put the other one up that the best of the lot. GIT

Enjoyed your work from this trip very much Andy and this is no exception. Great interaction and like the sense of place offered by the weather conditions.
