Smashing little bird and a lovely BG Ian, on the critique side of things I would prefer a little more room at the bottom as the crop looks a little unbalanced to me.

Just love the expression on the LTT's face, these are my favourite little balls of fluff on a stick....
If you have control of the perches then I would indeed prefer a more delicate one, which would be more in keeping with the subject but not knowing the location or situation it's not easy to comment on that aspect, if it is a feeding station and you are able to, remove most of the feeders and clamp suitable perches nearby on the birds approach, the resulting queue should provide the opportunities....
All the best

Nits covered but it really is a pleasing image. Clean, simple and full of detail. The repost is much better for composition. Nice work.

Its a show stopper Ian. Always smart looking birds unless of course you stumble across a real tatty one. Well done for getting an hyperactive species.

One of my fave little birds, the second image being my preference. A lovely clean b/g, and you have captured this little one's character beautifully.

Great shot. Good background. I like the branch and the detail in it.

is this any better ?

Good shot but the perch is just too overpowering in my opinion. Perches are the in thing at the moment !

Lovely shot of a little cracker.
