It was a hot 37 degrees when I left Conway at 5:30 Saturday morning. Much warmer than it had been the previous two mornings. The cold from Thursday and Friday did make some nice icicles everywhere. I only busted my butt and nearly ended up in a deep pool of water with my camera once.

Black and white view.

Both views are very nice, but it looks cold, Matthew!

Yea it was cold, mostly just my hands though. Some coffee and breakfast at the lodge took care of that though. Brian, I went with Clay and we didn't see another soul on the trail.

Great shot Matt. It's well composed and executed. The ice is nice addition. Thanks for sharing.

Both are nice, Matt, but the black and white composition is superb. Nice work!

Great look Matt. I agree the B&W comp is very good but the original post is my favorite.
