Met Morris at Castlewood Canyon yesterday morning (Sat 12-13) to shoot sunrise... had some nice clouds over the eastern sky which colored nicely.

Here is a shot looking east with Cherry Creek in the foreground.

Enjoyed meeting and chatting with Morris.

I like the reflection off the creek. The fg is a little dark for my taste, but that is just my preference. Nice shot though!

Thanks. To be honest, the image darkened a bit in conversion from fullsize 12 meg file in Lightroom to the smaller .jpg, so cant argue a tad darker than I would like, not sure why it did! Visually looks a 1/3 to 1/2 stop darker on the forum than it does viewing file in Lightroom, and yes, same monitor, same computer, so didnt downsize so well.

Just a fun shot, enjoyed meeting and chatting with Morris and shooting some images.

Amazing sky--looks like some great reflections in the creek! I'll have to get up there some time...

Yeah, Tim, this posting is darker than the jpegs you e-mailed me by about the amount you stated. I have trouble with darkening and increased sat and contrast when posting from time to time. Sorry it happened to you here, because your e-mail shots rocked!
Stan, call me if you come up.
