.. I think she maybe wanted some headache pills.. This female had in fact lost an eye but she was tending to her pup very well which is why she was still not receptive to his advances. Just quickly browsing these images taken yesterday so more to come I expect.

Hi Brett
Great atmos shot and wonderful placing, but looks wierdly over sharpened or something.
Looks almost pixelated.
Cheers

Hi
nice shot and pose Brett but I have to agree with John that "there`s trouble at mill" with the processing. It looks to be very over sharpened.

Thanks Guys, you are completely right on that front..! I was using DPP which is not what I would normally use but I was using to it view some files from the 5dII and started the processing there and finished in PS.. Not used to that.. Usually done in ACR then PS.. Will try again.. Thank you..

... Hope this is a little better..? Maybe I need to go to sleep and start again with fresh eyes .. Processed this time from ACR and CS3. Do bare in mind that they are both completely covered in sand and also look at the BG, I only ever conduct a 'whole image' sharpening process and never selective.

Second shot much better Brett.
The first lacked contrast and impact for me, but the second is fine.

Superb shot Brett - I just presumed that the over sharpenning was indeed sand!! Having been to Donna Nook last week I experienced the same thing.

The second image looks just about right Brett, love the pose too.

Hey Brett
Good action well caught, the sand is conveniently highlighted by their shadows. Only nit for me would be the slightly downward looking perspective

Great action, agree with Andy, a lower view might have added more drama

Second one for me Brett, brillant capture love all the different shades of brown's and the flying sand give's the image some movement, lovely

A super light you have captured there Brett, the second being the better of the two for reasons already pointed out. Nice one.
Agree the second.... although a lower PoV might have given a touch more drama I know that the seals were being given the space that they deserve which limited the viewpoint options.....
