Hello Everyone,
My name is Larry Roche and I am recently retired from the Tourism Industry and live in Buffalo NY. Soon I will head for Florida where we will winter in Punta Gorda. Please take a look at my NPN Portfolio and offer your opinions. My goal is to improve my photography to a point where I can call myself a good amateur. I shoot with a Pentax K10D matched with a Tamron Zoom. I've been 'watchng' the NPN site for a while now. I finally had the nerve to get active. Good to be 'onboard'.

And Welcome to southwest Florida. Punta Gorda isn't too far from me. I keep meaning to get up there to explore for photo ops, but so far, I haven't gotten around to it.
Hi Larry. Your portfolio contains some wonderful images and I look forward to seeing more. The only suggestion I have from viewing them is to try to add some with different lighting situations such as threatening skies, bright overcast, early morn and early evening. Welcome and jump right in to the nature forums.

Welcome aboard! I would say that from looking at your website and images that you are already well beyond "good amateur." Don't be shy, jump right in with some postings and comments. Glad to have you here.
