Here is a couple of Lenticular cloud photos I took between Bozeman and Ennis Montana with a Canon 30D. Any comment appreciated. No HDR was used on either of these images.

This is the second. I posted this one on Man & Nature but received little comment. Appreciate any comment here good or bad. This one was taken very late in the day.

Both are really nice but that second one is so simple and peaceful and just downright beautiful. Love the vibrancy of the colors in both. No nits from me, Dean.

Dean...both are amazing... second one is almost like a 'zen garden' ...awesome colors ......... great job....

Like them both! Great compositions. The warm tones of the first and cool tones of the second really add mood. Well done.

I really like the second one. Great curves. The first is nice but the dark top/polarization bugs me a bit.

I like them both, but the 2nd one has some character to it.

I like them both. The second one has a bit of a distracting blue cast, but that may just be my uncalibrated monitor at work. Also, I'd like to see that first one with a pano crop to it, getting rid of some of the darker clouds at the top.

Both are fine images.......second one like Brian says has some real character to it.
Good job. Joe Rogers
Both are outstanding and the first is one of the best lenticular shots I've seen. Awesome!

I like both comps and I agree that the grad line is just a little much, and if you want the clouds to be the main subject in the second to increase their brightness a touch. Both are fine shots.

These are nice! The colors are great. I like the flow through the image on the second one and the clouds are outstanding in the first.

Awesome shots! I like both of them quite a bit. Very dramatic images

What Grant said.
The patches of snow and undulating snow fences in #2 are really nice.

Nice work, Dean. I love the drama in #1, although the darkness in the clouds bugs me a bit. And in #2, who knew snow fences could look so good? Great stuff.

Love the siz of the clouds compared to the landscape in the firs image. Great color as well.

Both are fine images, but #2 really stands out. The composition is stellar, as is the perfect rendering of the "end of the day" mood.

Wonderful images! The 1st really gives a sense of scale. The 2nd has a serene, smooth flow to it. Excellent harmony between the subjects in this image!
