Road Shot
Folks,

Here's one taken on the road to Cades Cove this fall. Although I think everyone should have some in their portfolio, road shots don't float my boat that much, but other people really, really like them. And they can make great calendar shots.

135mm Rodenstock Apo-Sironar-S on the usual 4x5 Ebony field camera, film was Velvia 100F.

Cheers, Steve

Excellent! The dark pavement and yellow lines really bring out the s-curve. Draws me right into the picture. The fall colors our fantastic!

How long did you have to wait to not have cars in the shot? Anywhere near Cades Cove in the fall can be madness.

Thanks Richard,

Not long at all; it was that very rainy Tuesday afternoon in the fourth week of October, so very few cars going by.

Cheers, Steve
