Early Morning Fog
My dog Reba was insistent we go for an early morning walk before church on Sunday. The previous week of cold weather (-6 degrees) had made the ground cold. A warming trend over the cold ground caused rather intense fog.

Not the best picture but, remember, unusual atmospheric events can yield good photos--often better than this one.

D700, 28 mm manual Nikkor prime, 1/20 sec., F/8, ISO 560.

Ah, some beautiful fog...just about my favorite light for photography. Looks like you had a good bit of snow to compliment the scene. Nice work, Larry - thanks for sharing.

From you, Bill, the compliment is meaningful if not too kind.

I don't like the fence post location. I need to watch my comp. I should have placed the post to the left or right of the distant tree.

And this roadside photo has perhaps a foreground problem. Turned out better color-wise than I had imagined it might.

Fog and rain is usually neat.

The main thrust was/is----get out there, eh!!!!

This has got a great feel to it Larry. And I like the combination of colors. Thanks for sharing.

Extremely well done Larry. I really like the color and juxtaposition of warm and cool tones.

I like this one Larry. Be interesting to see one where you moved the fence post relative to the tree behind it, but I think this one is good as is.
