For Pete
And all the others of course.
I also like the animal in their habitat shot. So more space around the roe deer this time. Same calf.

iso 200 1/40 sec. f4 full frame

Yep, like this one better too (although the other one was excellent). Gives a good sense of temperature and isolation. :toast:

Hey Edlington
I hope you don't tire of my constant crop suggestions, I guess this is the key with photography, it's all so subjective at the end of the day so this is just my preference. The foreground space detracts for me and I would prefer to see it as a pano crop, leaving enough foreground to reveal the thick frost. I would also take a small slice off the rhs, just up close to the background tree. It's a belting image anyway this this I believe would make it even better. Lovely red deer that you emailed me by the way.

Andy is right - it's all so subjective this game isn't it: it's another cracking shot which compliments the first really well, i'd just lose the trees on the left by a slight crop as it'll then goive a completely clean pastel cold environment for the deer.
Envious though...

At the end of the day it all boils down to personal preference. I have enjoyed both images, but for me the first is favourite. That said, this is very pleasing to the eye too. Keep up the good work.

Of course I don't mind Andy. I accept and respect everyones opinion and comments as long as they are honest.
