I have just installed Windows 7 on my machine and have discovered that my Spyder 2 Express drivers are not compatible. Despite extensive searching I have been unable to locate a suitable driver and have received no reply from the manufacturer. It would appear that they are rather keen for me to upgrade to Spyder 3 and don't seem to have any intention of supporting Win7.
I only bought it in June this year and it is as new so before I reluctantly sell it does anyone have any ideas or further info regarding Win7 drivers?
Cheers
Robert

I must say, unfurtunately, I am not surprised by this - If I read the launch blurb correctly Win 7 is devaoid of historic drivers to make it a leaner meaner bit of programming. It is heavily tailored to being an internet search platform - in theory Win 7 searches the internet for the approproate driver when anything new/old is plugged in. It/we therefore rely heavily on the goodwill of the manufacturers to update old product drivers as the computer platforms continually change.
Perhaps there is a niche market about to develop for software engineers to create drivers for older products to run on the new generation computer platforms - a bit like historic car restorers!!

Hi Robert, Windows 7 provides XP and Vista Compatiblity mode. you should be able to run the setup program by right clicking and selecting the mode.
Otherwise most vista drivers will work on windows 7.
Thanks Mark, I'll certainly give that a try when I get home. However I am running the Home Premium and not the Pro 7 version so I'm not certain how that will affect things.
Cheers
