This is an image I shot over a year ago. It's a stitch of several verticals (can't remember how many) and I just "found" it on my hard drive after doing a data restore.
It wouldn't be worth posting at NPN size, so here's a link. I'd love to hear any comments or suggestions for improvement.

Wow! That's a fine art image if I ever saw one! You ought to try printing it - maybe B&W? Was that taken out east somewhere? I'd say that's one of the best images posted here this year!

Well done Paul. That will make a great print.

VERY nice! Simple and beautiful. It feels like the trees are standing there with an attitude totally unaffected by those harsh conditions.

Wow, I love this. Great work!
You should really get your hands on the latest issue of Silvershotz, if you haven't already. It's all about trees.

So this was in your "forgotten / discarded" pile? Wow! Why don't you send me the rest of your junk pile and I'll go through it for you...

Really nice Paul. Love the whites and symmetry. Beautiful job.

Cold and stark...just how I like my winter scenes!
I also like the symmetry, and feel it would look even better by straightening out the ground tilt.
Excellent work, Paul!

Hmmm...great. I like your Tree Gallery too (I think your link was to landscapes?). We have some pretty fantastic trees around here, I think I may have gleaned an idea... thanks for the look!

Thanks for the comments everyone. Much appreciated. After all the computer problems I had earlier this year, I thought I'd lost this image. It was nice to recover it. Jesse, thanks for the pointer to Silvershotz. Ken, this was taken out east of Longmont near I-25. John, thanks for the idea about the horizon. The camera was level, but now that you mentioned the horizon, it's stuck in my head. I'll play around with that.

Great find! This definitely needs to be printing as large as you can.
