Chipmunk Drying Off on Stump in Valles Caldera, NM
Photo taken in Late September at Valles Caldera, NM on Coyote Trail.

Late morning so light was getting hard was just goofing off on the trail. Chipmunk was on stump drying his fur. He got comfortable with me after about 10 mins and started stretching out to fluff his fur. Got this reach out pose during one of those stretches.

1/1250 @F6.3
ISO 400
270mm using 150-500mm F6.3 Zoom.
