A touch of snow
This is another digital image from my recent trip to Moab, Utah. Sorry its not a California image, and its a bit of an iconic location (Island in the Sky), but its the first image I've posted in a while that actually has the sky in it. All comments much appreciated. Best Regards.

Very nice light, Michael. Although the receding horizon line is true to place, the tilt of it carries my eye off to the right. I really like the color and textures in the fg rocks and the snow.

I am liking the nice warm, soft light and the various shades of red contrasting with the blues and the nice foreground detail. I would concue with Preston about the tilt of the ridge. It might benefit from a little CCW rotation.

I really like this and the warm tones shoots very well with the scene...

Great color variations. I like the lighting and foreground shapes.

I really like this one Michael. The colors and light are lovely here. There is a gradient of light to dark where I might normally want to have the light balanced a little better, but for some reason, I think it works very well here, especially bringing attention to the foreground rocks.

I too thought about the horizon and the lay of the land. Right away I figured it was the landscape sloping and not a tilt. If you do consider a rotation, I would be careful that the verticals in the cliff on the left don't tilt abnormally in the process. Perhaps the transform tool? In the end, not a big deal for me.

I really like the blue of the sky.

If it was the ocean I would know it's tilted but because it's canyonlands so who knows.
I like the colors here Michael.

I like the overall comp, colors and light captured here. I'd favor a slight gradient burn to the fg rocks and a little dodging of the distant cliffs to balance out the light levels just a bit more. Maybe even a slight crop off the bottom might look good too. Other than those little suggestions, I like it... CA or not. Nice work!

The tilt really doesn't bother me and I think if you did try to "level" it out, it may look a little odd, like Lon said. At first glance I thought the fg might be a little bright, but it looks like it’s in direct sun. Overall this is very nice.
