Small In The Frame - Stonechat
Photo taken yesturday of this male Stonechat that kept me company while I lay in wait for Short-eared Owls, but the weather put a stop to that :frown: They are so bold/brave how they keep coming just that bit closer to investigate you and this male was wondering why a bush was making clicking noise's   there is always a laugh to be had from nature

They are gorgeous, wonderful colour in the background and the setting is lovely. Can't make my mind up which I like best - maybe the first as the bird is a little bigger..... :toast: on second looks I love the setting on the second...

Like the second shot Craig.
Theres a bit more going on and the bird doesnt look quite so lost.
Lovely BG complimenting the bird.

Second one for me Craig. Very nice shot, and the grass in this instance enhances it. :toast:

Hey Craig
The first is a decent enough image but there is something about it that seems a little stark and sterile though I like the idea. The second shot however is spot on as it shows the 'chat is his habitat and there is a subtle V shape in the grass that balances the image nicely.
Cheers
