Taken few weeks back at sunset. the clouds was moving too fast which made easy enough to capture this motion. the moon looks very tiny but that's what happens with ultra-wide angle and I prefer that way...

Very cool image! Very powerful, too. I love the old tree, with all its twists and grain and it is a dramatic sky to go with it. The moon is so insignificant that I kind of find it to be a distraction, at least at the posted image size. Great stuff with this one, Debjit.

Great capture, Debjit! I like the curving lines in the tree.

Excellent job Debjit! Those clouds really take it up a notch and the small moon is a nice touch.
How does the color version look? Just curious.

Thanks guys...
Derek, I have the color version which is taken few minutes later but doesn't have this movement...in this version there wasn't much color with those clouds with sunset yet to occur...i find that the b&w portraits a very strong feeling to this place...i will post the color version too

Oh, I agree with you regarding B&W especially in this case. Quite honestly I have never been into B&W myself. But I find this image particularly stricking. I was just curious how the color looked in the scene.

Debjit,
This is excellent! Personally, I could even live without the moon. It's a nice addition, but I don't think it's that important in the frame. Great movement in the clouds and I really like the viewpoint. Reminds me very much of some other photographer's signature image - Marc Adamus.
Great image from Bristlecone.

Debjit, This is the best black and white of these bristlecones that I have seen so far.
The clouds frame the wizardly looking tree so well here. I like how the moon just floats above one the cloud streaks. Fantastic work!

Your recent posts have been outstanding Debjit, and this one is no exception. The motion blur of the clouds adds an intense artistic effect that I just love!

Beautiful work start to finish! I might consider pulling ever so little detail out of the LRC, but that's about it. Well done!

This is awesome! That tree has a lot of character, and the clouds add a lot of drama. It might be a bit too centered for my taste though.

Cool shot, Debjit. The b&w works great here. The moon may be small and not add much to the overall scene, but it certainly doesn't take anything away from it either.

Eric, the web version doesn't show anything but the larger version does have some but I might bring out a little more..

Mat, the centering was intentional...
