I'm always amazed at what appears during low tide, especially minus tides. The little colonies of life are just fascinating. If you look close enough, the many life forms are often stacked on top of each other.

Let's see You have the ubiquitous California Mussel, 3 species of Barnacles, 4 limpets and 1 chiton. The rock looks unusual to. Wonderful colors and detail Eric.

Nice arrangement of sea creatures Eric. I particularly like the barnacles. I was at the coast last night for some low tide shots, but I didn't get anything that I liked.

Eric, When looking at this one might wonder what in the world is all of this stuff here. After reading Paul's comment it really shines some light on the scene. The mussels have so many different shades and the growth on them makes you wonder how long they have been around.

Eric,
Excellent, intimate portrait of the tidal sea life. Comp works great with that subtle s-curve running down the middle. No nits here, good eye and capture.
