Ok, I promise I'll quit with these stupid wildlife pose shots after this one. Its just that the Chipmunk on the stump had some pretty funny captions tagged on it. Lets see how this goes....
I took this shot at the Wild West Nature Park (Edgewood, NM) in March of 2008. They have a pair of really old (and rare) Mexican Grey wolves. I had the honor of showing up one day just at feeding time and noticed this odd behavior. The keeper splits the food bowls about 50 feet apart and feeds the at the same time. As soon as the Alpha of the two (I think) gets finished eating she runs over and chases the other wolf away then comences to urinate in the food bowl.
There are a lot of things wrong technically with the photo (lighting/focus/Composition, etc.) but this is one of those moments you like to catch just for the fun of the pose.
p.s. the Wild West Nature park is in Edgewood NM, about 20-30 min east of Albuquerque just off of I-40. It is run completely with donations and volunteers. The park has a lot of rescue wildlife (nearly all the critters are rescues) and is run by donations and volunteers. They charge a small admission fee but if you are driving down I-40 and pass by its a nice place to stop and get a few photos. Not all of the exhibits are behind fence, a few will give you unobstructed look over the fence views which can result in some good opportunities.
Anyway.... Have at it with the captions.....

Don't stop, Douglas. Keep 'em coming. We need more humor in the world. I think your title sums this one up best -
"Why the Mexican Grey wolf is on the Endangered List"

I think its a perfect illustration of the old saying, "Never crap where you eat". Of course I'm sure this wolf is telling the other "Eat SH*T!".....

Great catch! I still think your original title is best.
