Prairie Snow
I haven't shared anything for awhile so thought I would share a scene of the season.
Along Deep Creek Rd., a path that most of us photo minded folk around these here parts travel on a regular basis.

As with most prairie images, this one reveals itself only after spending time with it. The light dusting of snow is like a powdered sugar fronsting on a Christmas Cake. The current streambed within the older, historic bed is interesting. Clearly, a lot of water has traversed the area in times past, but not much in recent decades (witness the tree in the stream bed).

While not a striking landscape, its beauty is there for all who are willing to devote a little time to studying it. Thanks for going out in the cold to bring back a bit of mother nature's more subtle beauty.

Ahh, Deep Creek Road!!!

Can't plan the clouds. I wish there was another sunligthed aread, a slice perhaps, in the forground.

Brad, have you tried a vertical taken from the left side.

I like the horizon contrasting with the obliqueness of the gulch.

Very crisp detail on my monitor.

But, as usual, very nice.... and you were there. That's part of photography's fun.
