Seaside Melody
Like a moth drawn to the flame, little kids just can't resist the temptation of running into a flock of resting birds. For some reason, this instance reminded me of a piece of sheet music... hence the title.

As always, any comments, suggestions or critiques are always welcomed.

Cheers!

This is very special, and you were ready for it.

Very cute image! You captured it well. I bet it would sell well in the stock arena.

Birds flying, kids playing, waves crashing, and all the nice reflections on the wet sand--very nice indeed--and b-w is the perfect vehicle for your subject.

Eric,

Rare capture, you've got two flows of opposite motion which gives the image great energy. juxtaposed against the two static lines in the image the surf and clouds. My only nit would be a contrast bump in the lighter areas of the image the surf splash and the clouds in the sky. I don't know if a BW filter would accomplish this, red filter or looping and selectively boost the contrast.
I'm not really a post processing expert.

Very nice, Eric. This has a lot of nice action with good flow to it. I like the high key tones, and the blacks look pretty good, too.

Well done,

Eric, wasn't expecting something like this, pretty sweet image.

The flight pattern resembles a couple of open wings, cool!
