Ok, last wild boar for now. Don't want to bore you with these lovely hams on legs. It's always a joy to see these animals. The contrast with the snow is lovely and they look so pretty in their winter fur.
For me, this is the outstanding image from this week. But it's only Monday?
Edwin predictable, I think not!
Nice one.

You just love these old Boar I can see Edwin. Seeing and hearing what you have to say about these animals I wouldn't be surprised if one day you didn't don a Wild Boar skin and attempt to join them for a close up or two.
Yet another fine image.

Hey Edwin
Nice post, I like the roomy crop you have given this, it works well for me
Very nice, the snow being flicked up in front makes it.... Always awkward with snow but I think the whites can be pushed a little here, plus it appears to have a Blue/Cyan cast, I just tried using the white eyedropper in curves on the lightest patch of snow then fading to around 60%... I think it was an improvement but that is just me and of course others will disagree... I won't post it, unless you give your permission out of respect....and will delete them later..
*Edit.. I just tried correcting using the levels dialogue and the result to my eyes looked better*
The hint of the snowy environment is great showing the winter coat of this super animal well..

Thanks guys.
@Phil.. you're right about the whites. The whites can be pushed a bit but it's early morning and very clouded. A bit of blue makes the image a bit colder. And cold it was. Of course you can post your version. Not a problem and thanks for taking the time.
Cheers, here is a version 'corrected' in levels by bringing the sliders in to the ends of the histogram in each of RGB channels... of course may not be right as this is always open to individual perception, you are right the blue does add that element of chill to the image...
All the best & hope you and family have a good christmas and new year.
Phil
