This was a year ago at my Oregon house. Beautiful - but, sadly, the start of a huge snowfall that ended up with 4 feet of snow, 8 foot drifts over the driveway, snowed in for 7 days, a big tree down thru my deck, no power or heat for 5 days, and my being unable to get back to CA for Christmas with family.
Sure glad I've moved back to N Ca again! 60 crisp sunny degrees today.
While I loved this house for 15 years, the winters were not nice.
When I want snow now, I'll happily go to Tahoe for the weekend.

Merry Christmas Sandy, nice view to have been stuck with.

I was up at our "get-a-way" place in Pioneer 1st week in Dec, at 3,500', got almost 2' of snow, unusual for that location but luckily only about 2 hours of snowblower operation to get the driveway clear. It's nice to just visit and not live full time in snowy conditions, snow along the central CA coast where we live is a freak occurrence and doesn't happen very often. Nice pic. Merry Merry and Happy Happy

I don't know... it looks a lot like a winter wonderland to me.
